The Temeraire is holding up well so far after the repairs back in the bubble, though she hasn’t really been tested yet.
I decided that after the drama of the last few days we should relax a little and travelled out to meet with Dr Kaii and members of the Mug Club tonight at a very atmospheric location looking out at the Fine Ring Nebula.
I met Kiel42, Silversheen, Dr Kaii himself, Duncan Hunter and the lovely Aggie Ninepence as well as many others. We did science to a mountain with a pair of fighters (which mostly consisted of rolling them down the side to see what happens) and generally kicked back before duty called and I had to make my way back into the black.

Dr Kaii also gave us the news about Chris Hadfield sending his well wishes and congratulations to the Distant Worlds 2 Mission before it was officially announced – something really special and appreciated by everyone.
I hope to make many more visits to the Mug Club before the end of the trip!
