Disaster has struck, and it’s all my fault. I have a fine to my name and wanted status.
On arriving back from my short trip to get my last 2% of exploration data, I went out in the SRV to take a look around the station. I intended to take some images of the view for the logs, then cash in my data. On the way back to the dock I accidentally discharged my SRV’s weapons and immediately acquired a fine and wanted status. Now I can’t access the station systems… I have enough data on board to get my Exploring Elite, and I can’t cash it in!
Worst still, I can’t guarantee that it’ll be clear or i’ll be able to pay it off at the next starport we encounter on the trip.
There is only one guaranteed way of clearing this misunderstanding up, and that is to travel to the nearest station with a facility to clear the fine – but that is many thousands of light years back toward the bubble.
I have no choice, I will have to do it. I have chosen a spaceport with the requisite facilities – Caravanserai in the Gandharvi system. I’m leaving right now – I’ll have to push Temeraire right to the limit to get there and back in time to get to waypoint 4 tomorrow.
