It’s the foraging for materials that has been the hardest.
When I made the decision to go on this crazy, wonderful adventure I little suspected the amount of sheer slog it would take to get the Temeraire ready for flight. From tacking back and forth between the engineers to get upgrades to scratching around on backwater dustballs for rare minerals, it has been a long and hard road.
But now, I’m ready and the Temeraire is ready.
Tomorrow I make my way across to the start point and I take my place among the 10,000 other crazy dreamers and we jump off into the black. The great adventure beckons…
