The Eagle Has Landed.

Imperial Cutter "Temeraire"
Eagle Sector IR-W d1-117 (Eagle's Landing)
7,018 light years from Sol

I’m rushing to catch up now, as I seem to be getting further and further behind the pace. To make up time I flew directly to the next point of interest – the Eagle Nebula and Eagle’s Landing.

Eagle’s Landing.

Eagle’s Landing is part of the Colonia Connection highway, giving much needed respite to travellers making the long haul out to Jacques and the new bubble. I took advantage of the facilities to have a quick rest after my charge across the light years, restocked my vittles, carried out vital maintenance of Temeraire’s systems and repaired any wear and tear accumulated.

To be honest, there isn’t a lot. Temeraire is holding up admirably to the pressures of long-distance flight.

I’d be remiss not to mention the Eagle Nebula – the views of the nebula were wonderful on the way in. We are certainly being treated to some beautiful sights on this journey!

Bravo, expedition leaders!
